Mary M. Wagner

Mary M. Wagner was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1992. Ms. Wagner received her B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas, and her M.B.A. and J.D. from the University of Houston. In addition to her admission to practice in Texas state courts, Ms. Wagner is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Ms. Wagner has worked in the areas of professional liability, products liability, nursing home liability, general civil litigation, and family law litigation. In 2007, Ms. Wagner became a Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist (CITRMS). As a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, and the Greater Houston Society for Healthcare Risk Management, she concentrates her practice on civil litigation, primarily medical malpractice defense. Her practice covers all phases of defense of healthcare liability claims.

Lauren M. Virene

Lauren VireneLauren M. Virene was admitted to the Texas Bar in November 2013. Ms. Virene obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2010 and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center in May 2013. While in law school, Ms. Virene served as a Senior Articles Editor on the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Harold R. DeMoss, Jr. on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Prior to joining Luccia & Evans, LLP, Ms. Virene worked in the areas of mortgage litigation and general business litigation. Ms. Virene is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Western, Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Ms. Virene concentrates her practice on the defense of healthcare liability claims.


Amanda Schramm

Amanda SchrammAmanda M. Schramm was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2015. Ms. Schramm earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas State University – San Marcos and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from University of Houston Law Center. While in law school, Ms. Schramm was actively involved in the Student Bar Association, serving as a Director. Ms. Schramm was also the recipient of the Prudential Life Scholarship Award for Excellence in Health Law and the Ewer-Oren J.D. Health Law Writing Award during her time at the University of Houston Law Center. Ms. Schramm’s practice focuses on the defense of health care liability claims.


James C. Dalrymple

James C. DalrympleJames (JC) Dalrymple was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2015 and joined Luccia & Evans, L.L.P. in October 2016. He earned his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law where he was a member of the Student Bar Association and participated in Criminal Trial Advocacy. Prior to joining Luccia & Evans, Mr. Dalrymple was a patrol officer for the Houston Police Department. Mr. Dalrymple concentrates his practice on the defense of healthcare liability claims.
